Current confirmed coronavirus status

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide has exceeded 200 million.

According to World Ometer, a global statistics site, the cumulative number of confirmed cases of corona worldwide was 2152,677 as of 6 a.m. on the 4th. The cumulative death toll is 4.257,023.

This is the first time that the cumulative number of confirmed cases has exceeded 200 million.

The number of daily confirmed cases in the previous day was 548,404, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 200 million.

Coronavirus was first reported in Wuhan, China in December 2019. The cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 200 million in 20 months. As the population of the Earth is 7.8 billion (on a World Ometer basis), one out of 39 people on Earth is infected.

By country, the U.S. ranks first with 36 million, India second with 31 million, Brazil third with 19 million, Russia 6.3 million, France 6.1 million, and Britain 5.9 million.
